Oh how come i have missed this doll, Lovely expressions, I like how you have added a texture, but i think hair has lost all the details ? Also try to put some contrast. Would surely make huge difference. Overall beautifull portrait.

Hi Shawn! I really like the whole idea of this piece but I think that it could have been a lot better by just fixing a couple little things. By the face being straight on it is not very eye pleasing. I've taken photography for people and it is much more eye catching to have the face at a bit of an angle so that it doesn't look too cemetric and boring. Also it is hard to see the sides of the face which you should be able to see some of with the hair not completely covering it. Since you can't see her nice cheek bones her face kind of fades away until you get to the hair and makes her face look very flat. One more thing (and I'm sorry, I'm not try to totally rip on your stuff because I love your work) I think that if her eyes or eyelashes were darker and her notstrils that it would have made the entire piece pop out a bit more and add more contrast.
Again, I love your work so I'm not trying to be mean, that is just what I saw that might make this look much better :)

I like this and I can appreciate what you were trying to do here. However, my honest thought is that its kind of high key but not sufficiently high key to have contrast and impact. On the other hand its soft and pinky white, almost soft and fluffy so to speak and the more I look at it the more it grows on me. Certainly her face is very beautiful and it has a serene feel to it.

Its a striking image and aptly titled. Like the tone of pink you have used and the texture of the white hair. Makes her features stand out. Maybe the nostrils are a little too faded though. Like it

Very beautiful image. I like how you did not center her face but positioned it off to the side. The colors add to the softness of the image, nicely chosen. The texture paper was a nice touch. Good work.

this is absolutely amazing and gorgeous. if i were to suggest anything it would be for you to put my name on this, i can only wish i could create such a work. i didn't even realize it was a digital painting until i read your notes.
well done, very well done. everything is so soft....the only area that catches my attention is the harder shadow long the crease between the upper and lower lips, but that is just incidental.
