I just had my children writing poetry about seasons today and I have to say I agree about summer afternoons.
The composition of this photo is very nice with the young lady leading us across the frame. Great color tones. Good luck!

automatic settings? is a nice photo with a good story to it, the look of determination on the young lady's face says a lot. the camera captured good colors, a deep sky, and earthy tones. nice composition. good job!

The kids look like they are having fun.

I like the colors and the presentation, but think the POV is too low. Maybe you could have gotten on the same level with them...I feel like I am looking up at them, making this unbalanced.

The angle is deep in purpose. I wanted the impression of looking up to them. Children are so much smarter and so much more emotional in contact with nature so have all reason to luck up to them. Why we have to look down?
[Anyway even on the same level I still would look up. The 12 year old girl is taller then me. The boy [10] has about my size]

a nice warm feel to this smmer scene here, love the angle and composition of this and the focis is perfect, lots of sharp fresh clarity and expression here, grewat color tones and absalootly the right day for it, has a sixties atmosphere and a great light coming in, nice work.

The idea is a good one but I would have liked to have seen more of the beach or land. I lose focus when I can't see the little girls feet. The flower in her hand is a beautiful color. Maybe you could have cropped it differently or zoomed out a little. All in all it is a good photo.

Thank you a lot. This snap was a decision in a second. I was going for the boy when she moved into the picture with the hibiscus in her hand. I just ha time to adjust the focus but couldn't move the camera. Both would have known that I was taking photos what makes the kids posing. I didn't show more of the beach since it was covered with to much trash coming in with the waves. [An ongoing problem here what I addressed earlier but didn't wan't to ruin the kids vacation photos with it]. The other reason is that I really didn't want a beach photo. That's something for landscape and with that unfortunate cloudless postcard sky horrible common and boring. I dislike postcard situations.

Thank you so much. Yes I know were you life. Gets quite hot bin thee summer too but I think it is a little couler especially in the winter in your area.
