great photo of very antiquated machinery. the yellows and maroons on the spreader highlight the machine in a clever subtle way and the non-descript background adds to the angles and definition. will grandpa walton appear from the bushes and start her up !!

Debbie there you go again. This piece is so awesome yet it just a piece of crap. You are truly talented in that way. By the way that was meant as a compliment! Great photo, I love how the background make the subject stand out!

That yellow is really neat on the contraption
a color that probably came with age
that is what makes these shots so cool

Ah yes the old manure spreader.....! Its right out of American Gothic paintings of yesteryear. The angle and lighting really enhance the weathered and rusty machinery in it's lonely state....very nice...very nice!

My short legged dogs are going a lot on the back half acre, I could use this manure spreader;) Tell the hubby to be nice cause I expect you are already spread pretty thin!
The setting for this and the angle of the photo makes this work out. Of course the sun light was right, one key element. A real fine looking old piece and I still see some ..looks like yellow paint. Grade A - old crap!

This is very well done. The lighting is excellent. The colors are superb. I think it is amazing how you can take an object that is not typically pretty to the naked eye and transform it into an amazing peace of art. Well done LowRider.
