Hi Cleo,
Love the image you created and the lovely story within your author's notes. I have never heard of this tale.
I think you presented the story well in the image you created. Love the bubbles on that background of blue and the delicate snowflakes.
Thank you for sharing both with allof us. :o) Helvi

This is a very creative and interest photograph. The colors blend very well together. I like the fairies in the bubbles. The snowflakes added a great touch. Beautifully done.

Aw I love your story Cleo! And when I see the glistening trees now I will think of your fairies instead of diamonds! Great use of color. Your little fairies are so sweet, the body position is perfect for this. The one with two is my favorite, it could be you and I telling stories until we fall asleep!

Thank you so very much for your creative review and the high rating. I love your story of the two fairies. Sorry for the late response. I had an Internet gremlin in my line who wouldn't let me write replies or reviews.

Bad Gremlins! :)

There are so many different things in this that amaze me..first..the story is majorly impressive, it is EXACTLY the sort of wonderful make believe that engages a childs mind. I love the melting soap bubble idea! AND the idea of migrating fairies! The execution of this is very unique, it has wonderful depth in both character and colors. The individually created snowflakes are amazing in their own right (I could NEVER do that!). I hope we get to see the rest of the book! Donkeyoatey

Thank you so much for your throughout review. The review means a lot to me especially coming from you. It makes my day that you think it would engage a child's mine. My earlier posted Hibiscus Fairy is meant to go on the end of the story but we only can post one picture at thew time. You sure will see some bedtime stories from time to time. You didn't lie in purpose or even knowing it but that you couldn't create these snowflakes is a lie. It is not very complicated but it needs a lot of time.
Sorry for being late. I had an Internet gremlin for two days what wouldn't allow me to write on line. It left last night.
Cleo
Thank you again. You made my day.

Cleo..you HAVE to FEED the gremlins! I think this is a very sweet story, I can certainly see reading it to my grandchildren, and they wouuld love it..it has what a lot of children's stories do not..it assumes the child is intellegient..I HATE stories that "talk down" to kids! I really probablycouldn't make snowflakes..they would be crooked! Donkeyoatey
-
That is what I forgot. I think the Gremlins eat dog- and cat food and bacon. Right?
Yes, it's right. I assume the child is intelligent. Most the time they are more intelligent than the parents would think of in my oppinion. Even if the don't understand everything, they have their mouth to ask. intelligence dos not come from thin air but from learning and experience. A story at "child's level" is not a challenge.
Your snowflakes wouldn't be crooked. You have a line drawing tool somewhere in your program I am sure.

Cleo, assuming the child is intellegint, is what most people DON'T do..that is why you are unique! Donkeyoatey
-
My gremlins like peanuts! lol Donkeyoatey
-
I try that! What About a peanut butter sandwich?
Cleo
-
Maybe it's because I'm remember clearly how i was annoyed and embrassed to be treaded "child like" when I was a kid.
Cleo
-
Remembering things like that are VERY important, and very unusual! Donkeyoatey
-
Wellwhere you live, maybe papaya? lol Donkeyoatey
-
Ha Ha, worth a try.
-
Unusual? Really? ~Cleo

Thank you, You make my day. I'm happy you find my story interesting. I wasn't sure how grown ups would react to it since I wrote the story for kids in a language what isn't mine.

At first glance I see beautiful blues, with bubbles with sacks of money in them. OOOPS, after reading the artist notes, I found out what I thought were sacks of money, are actually fairies. Sorry, I just don't see fairies. I love the shades of blue and the contrast.

Thank you for your kind review and your input. Sacks of money? I can't see them. I just checked the post but of curse it is my photo of a girl in a old time maiden, somehow Amish looking costume in there. Of curse I know what it is and so I still see it clearly. The kids I showed the print to have seen the fairies also. Wouldn't sacks of money have a money sign on it? Your idea is kind of funny. You have me thinking. Maybe I write a grown up story about like the one of king Midas wishing for gold....
-
Yes, I didn't see the face or arm and I thought that was a drawstring around the top and the rest was a bag. I am so sorry. I also was going to say that when I looked even closer I thought they were ghosts, I guess when I think of Fairies I think of sparkling and delicate or even stars real bright. I am glad you aren't offended. I try to be honest, but sometimes it is hard. I guess you just never know what a review will say. (lol) I had a review on one of my pictures that has cars in motion. It took a special technique to capture it just right... I got bad review saying I needed to redo it cause it is blurred. The blurred cars while everything in focus is what takes a special technique to catch. lol Oh well, thanks for having a sense of humor. :)
-
Lol, these fairies aren't sparkly, they are cold and have put warm close over the sparkles. No, Im not offended. I wasn't sure anyway how grown ups react since it is a childrens story. I'll have a look at your cars. :-)
-
lmao ohh, it is the warm clothes I see. :) And no fair telling my cars are blurred. lol
-
Your cars aren't blurred but the fairies are just a little because of the ice around them.
