Very nicely done. When I first saw the small image (thumbnail), I thought this was a photograph. Excellent color and composition. The second cactus and the fourth cactus appear to be mirror images of each other. Are they?

Thank you! I appreciate your review and honor of the high rating. The second and forth cactus aren't meant to be mirror images, Not intentionally, but I see what you mean. They seem to be. I see it. It must be come from the many scratches I did on draft paper and digitally when I made the concept for the painting. I arranged and rearranged the saguaro and the fade city in the background many times. Some images may stuck in my unconsciousness.

Well sure looks like the real thing here Cleo, excellent digital work and even getting the gorgeous sunset colors for a back ground! Amazing work with wonderful realism to the work! They certainly are amazing cactus!

Thank you very much. Yes they are amazing. We have lots of cactus and column cactus in Central America but I think the Saguaro is the most magnificent I have ever seen.

I have only seen them in florist here but would love to see them in the dessert! They are suppose to be quite amazing!
