This is beautiful the way you took this. I like the close up and all the detail you see in the petals. I like the way the sun shines on the flower too. I like the way the background looks. An excellent picture. Good luck in the contest.

Very pretty Iris. Love the soft feel to it and the beautiful shades of purple you captured. Also like that the frame is filled with a single bloom and your background is an appropriate bokeh. Very well done. Good luck in the contest.

I love your composition. The symmetry is beautiful. The exposure is perfect and adds a lot to the photo. The only thing is i would sharpen it a little bit more to give it a little more clarity. OTher than that it is a really nice picture.

Pretty flower. Shadows add to the subject. This never was one of my favorite colors in Iris'. This is the only color I had for a long time-now I have darker colors and they show up better and have stand out details and markings. Background muted enough that even this more pale shade contrasts ok.
