Hi Annie. I love the abstract part of this image. The colours and composition work so well together to make this a really vibrant and exciting piece. I would not have added the image below... I think that the abstract stands perfectly well on its own. Congratulations on winning the mixed-media competition by the way. It was well deserved.

Excellent abstract. Love that you maintained the same colors as original. Very obviously from same photo this creation was made. Love the action with the streaking of the background. Great job. Good luck in contest.

Very nice, I like the abstract one better. Great use of tools, I love the colors. I don't know what finger tool is. It sure made a wonderful image. I also likethe golden yellow up in the left corner top. Very, very nice.

As I study this piece I pick up more and more detail. See the layers, motion blurs, and patterns in the background. I enjoy paintings, sketches and photography when the background starts to become part of the foreground. In other words the way the edges of the floral design are soft, almost vignette and translucent helps your eyes come into the center of the design. Not only do I get the swirls and motion of the center objects but I also get the angular blend of the reds & gold's in the background. This is an exciting piece and in the right space it would light up the entire space. Really well done.

I smiled when I saw your image. Because I know what you have done to the flowers! I have that same software programme and have used it a number of times. Doubt most people would recognize the flowers without you showing the original shot. The end result is very attractive and one which I prefer over the original, although I do say very often you cannot improve on nature. I still stick by that, but software can and does produce some beautiful abstracts. Love the colours and textures in this too.
