Fred,
A beautiful Vista picture over New York with the low in the sky sunlight just lighting up the tops of the buildings. Beautiful composition & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

love the title and what a view. Fantastic city scene captured here, you could be mesmerised by that sight for hours. Good composition between the buildings and skyline

Glad King Kong did not see this. I think, I can still remember that scene, atop the Empire State Building. Wide depth of field and excellent angle, displaying the city and the magnificent sky scrapers and other structures. Well captured and a pleasure to view.

no much change since 1934, except the buildings at ground zero and very few elsewhere

A very impressive view Fred. When the original "Kink Kong"was made in 1934 probably half of this wasn't built. Good depth, focus, contrast and detail. Did you know that "Faye Wray" the star of that movie was born here in Alberta?

Regards,
Robin.

Wow, what a view. I have not been up the Empire State Building since 1976, sure is neat. Heights make me nervous and this is way up there. Very good birds eye view, focused and framed to show the King Kong look.

A stunning view from up high looking over all of the buildings in Manhattan. Lot of people down there! I can easily see and recognize the Freedom Tower in the far distance. Wonderful photo and very fun to view. the old Empire State Building is still a pretty tall building judging from this view looking down on everything else. Old King Kong would have seen some of these buildings but not the world trade center in the distance.

A great view of the city. Love the play of the shadows and the light, like the angle of capture and the contrast, very well focused and with great vivacity of color. Excellent job.
