OH MARY, what a sad sad face ...this is the reason I avoid all zoos....whether in third world countries or developed countries I don't go near them.

You have focus on the nose and whiskers and the eyes are soft....the eyes always need to be sharp, they are the portals to the soul and we connect with eyes. However, having said that on this small thumbnail he looks sharp enough. I know you had the same thing happen with your little red bird upload.

I like this image, it makes me feel very sad.

Thanks Olga, it is sad to keep them in zoos but most of the animals in Adelaide Zoo and Monarto are for breeding of endangered animals in the wild, They are also looking at relocating the lions at Adelaide Zoo to Monarto where it is pretty close to their natural environment.

A beautiful specimen. I like the lighting and the great colors. Even though it is a square presentation it seems that it is cropped from a horizontal framing and it is essentially a portrait and should have been shot in the portrait (vertical) orientation. A little more room at both the top and bottom would be nice.

Thanks Mike will take your suggestions on-board. He was pacing right near the fence so difficult to get angle and avoid wire hence tight framing. :) Mary
