I like your notes and photo. I never saw white/orange bees. Extremely good details. The colors are jumping from the screen.

I only see them pm when the ASTERS are blooming. They call them 'tri-colored' or 'orange banded' Bumble Bees. They're really fuzzy too. Thanks so much for checking them out and glad you enjoyed the notes as well.

This is beautiful! I have never seen bees in that color before! What part of the world do you live in? The colors are really cool on them! The focus is excellent! The artist notes are very informative! Great job and a pleasure to view! Lori

Northeast part of the USA Lori. In Vermont. I usually only see these great, fuzzy, tri-colored Bumble Bees once the ASTERS open up. Thanks so much for the wonderful review and so glad you enjoyed the notes too.

It is VERY hot today....and a little dry but not as bad as you guys are having it. Supposed to rain for next three days too.

It's a Bombus ternarius...or tri-colored Bumble Bee. Common in northeastern part of USA. I've also seen them called Orange-Belted Bumble Bee. Should have included them in my notes. Thanks so much for the marvelous review.

Love the very creative title.. LOL.
Colors are amazing, many shades of purple and blue.

Perfectly blurred background with lots of green works VERY well.

Awesome!

What an absolutely stunning photograph. The colours are incredible. Wonderful 3D effect with that gorgeous bokah. The lighting is great.

The bee is slightly soft but this matters little in such a beautifully composed shot.

Nicely done as always.

This sort of Bee is really fuzzy Brian. They actually spend the night on these flowers and only start moving around once the sun is out to warm them up....their colors are so vibrant. Thank you, as always, for checking out my post. I do appreciate it.

Well Peg...you made an awesome piece here! Love the colors and shades, perfect cropping and the fine, sharp details of the bees and the petals. Cracked up about the Superman cape the top bee is wearing. I wish we had bees like that in Alabama! The soft, muted background is the icing on this lovely slice of cake. Very nice and thank you for sharing with us. Sharon/Bea226
