As is this is a good shot. I think it could be even better if you hadbumped the iso up to maybe 400 so you could get a fstop of maybe 11 or so to make whole think a little sharper. mabe a tad more contrast too

Hi jbravo,
glad you enjoy the shot, I did not know of those features yet and am learning about them now from here.
I hope to get a class in the spring to help to become better at them.
thank you for the tips as I will keep them in mind in the next ones I try to get as some leave for the winter and head south.
thank you for your insightful review.
always,
ron

Sounds delicious and fun too. I really like that you have the boat heading into the picture, not scooting out on the right side. Focus great, exposure also good. Really nice work.

Hi fotogran,
yes it is as we used to go out every weekend in our 20s.
glad you enjoy that as I was headed for it as it headed out.
it was a few shots as I got ready to leave for the day and drive back home before the day traffic.
thank you for your nice comments and great review.
always,
ron.

Nice sea shot posted here! Looks like quite a nice craft to sail on or to see!. Your composition gives it plenty of sea to sail into, its sharp and well exposed. Nice work!

Hi nikman,
glad you enjoy the last of the bay as it is 200ft from the inlet opening.
it is a nice smaller charter to go out on as 5 are bigger and one a catamaran Miss Barnegat Light as it is the fastest of them.
as the smaller charters are about 25 to 35 faster but 6 to 10 people and not much resting area and crowed tables to eat as people snag the spots fast.
glad you enjoy the clarity of it like I do but used it for a story as I searched med stuff up. :-)
thank you for viewing and your kind review.

ron

Great balanced photo, capturing a hint of the sunlight reflecting of the boat, and also the overcast sky as well, creating an atmosphere that's very tranquil I think. I like the overall leisurely atmosphere too, looks like a party on the boat too.

Hi Andre Three Thou,
thank you for pointing that out for me as I will keep it in mind.
yes the sun was to much blowout by now as I walked back in from being over 2/3 out on the jetty in the inlet.
it may seem like that but was pretty clear but the sun was still to early to brighten it up.
glad you get the tranquil feel from it as that is what I try to catch for the other site to view.
glad you enjoy it as they may start by 10am but not this early as coffee is ready for the late nihght for some. but is nice to have 30 minutes from the house to get some trips in.
thank you for your kind insightful review.

ron

Hi Dale,
glad you enjoy the position they are is as the jetty is right in front of me below the concrete walkway.
glad you enjoy a few things of detail I have captured and not cutting the biggest antenna off.
thank you for viewing and your kind review,

Hi LadyMarie,
Glad you enjoy the shot of a calm morning as the searcher sets out for a day trip.
glad you enjoy them both in the sight as they keep the one island as a buffer as you would have to turn right to get to where I live on the bay.
thank you for your insight on it as I was still new taking this shot.
thank you for viewing and your kind review.

A very nice shot in a great nautical setting. I like the placement of the Searcher and the anchored catamaran in the background. The details are sharp and the overcast weather is attractive.

Hi michiganmike,
glad you enjoy it as it is a calm day and a no wake zone so 5mph so east to catch a slower shot.
glad you enjoy both settings as I walked back from the jetty as a few bigger charters left already.
it looked like it was going to be a great day as there was no clouds as the sun rose behind me.
hank you for viewing and your kind review.

Hi MKFlood,
Glad you enjoy it as I used it for the med site as I tried to look up so much stuff still pretty new to the computer as well.
glad you enjoy the capture of it all as I was still new at taking them but enjoyed the way it came out and just to the tip of the one antenna.
as you need it when you are 40/ 50 miles off the coast after hitting the shelf and well over 500 ft of water.
glad you enjoy it, and think so as it was a shot some time ago.
as I will try my best learning from you all and what catches the viewers attention more.
thank you for your kind words and detailed review.
always,
ron

Technically a wonderful shot - the exposure has played out to me grandly. Love the color and the lighting, offers up a feeling of enjoyment without wicked sunlight! :-)) Great focus as well with the best detail. I could never do that many hours out there though...total of 22???? Wow. Thanks for sharing.

Hi momentsofjoy,
glad you enjoy it as it was an early shot of me using the cannon as it was about 2 months old.
glad you enjoy it so well as I basically used auto for the first year and a half before playing with the dials.
yes the sun was to bright but was the morning of the inlet shot I have up just about 1000ft away from there.
the trip is about 22 /24 as it is faster coming in as he hits the gas but a slower ride our depends on the seas.
it is a nice time but pricey but I took 2 trips as my twin did 4 but is a nice time if you like fishing and out so far.
thank you for your kind review.

ron
