Perfect composition with the heights of the different tulips placed perfectly. Your focus and lighting is excellent with the gold of the daffodils making the tulips almost glow. Well done.

That is funny Lisa. Tulips on Daffodil Hills, but I suppose it is also growing Daffodils there. It is however not difficult to understand that you like these Tulips, because they are truly beautiful against the sun lit background. Some of the same light is falling so lovely on the top of some of the flowers.
Your focus is spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details both in the flowers and the leaves, and also the exposure is perfect. I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.
The three tulips up from is the center of interest in this photo, and they are nicely set off a bit to the right. Personally I would however have cropped just a tad more on the right, because I believe the composition would get an even better balance. Still this is an all together truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

I thought it was funny, too, that out of the several hillsides of daffodils that I was drawn to this tiny patch of tulips. I guess I'm particular about my florals yet found that the daffodils still contributed beauty to the frame my eye was drawn to. I know one thing. When I was there I was in heaven with all that beauty of Nature surrounding me.

Very nice presentation. I like the closeness of the dof. The focus and clarity are really good on the flowers, stems and leaves. Lighting is handled very well especially the turned center leaves embracing the light. As close to real life as it can get. Nice work and thanks for sharing. Good luck in the contest.
