This is a wonderful composition that is befitting the poem. The boy's expression is priceless. You did a superb job of creating the folds and shadows in the various fabrics you painted and the viewer gets a sense of their softness. Best of luck in the contest.

This looks like old art of Norman Rockwell. The shading is awesome. The colors do it justice. The kitty is adorable. The child's face is too cute!
