Nicely done oil painting this.
The shading and brushwork is quite lovely.
The composition looks pretty good, but a little heavy (too much blank space) towards the top.
The rendering is a little stiff in terms of her posture, but overall its a really nice effort and quite beautiful.

the rendering is well done. but the composition of the figure does'nt cause the eyes to flow in the the focal point and out of the rendering. The color of the subjects hair matches too close to the color of the background so when you see the picture from the distance you can't tell where the hair ends and the back ground begins. the yellow carpet doesn't add to the design instead causes the eyes to fight for attention with the red in the background and the pale skin of the subject. dark colors draw the eyes into the rendering while light colors like yellow causes the subject to pop out. by having the pale skin and the yellow carpet doesn't allow the attention flow thought out the rendering.

Great initial impact and contest entry. The position of the woman shows her muscle tone and form very well and makes for a great composition. Your body proportions are spot on. The shading and tones in the skin are very good. The background color is very relaxing and highlights the subject very well. Nice job and good luck in the contest.
