Looks as if your good looking wolf has something important to say! Your composition is very appropriate for the message you wish to convey. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done!

You have pictured this howling wolf so well Grace, and with the nicely softened background, the animal is standing out in the most excellent way. In this photo is especially the fine textures of the fur you have captured so well.

Your photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in the wolf, and the exposure is perfect. It is lovely the way the light is falling on the wolf.

The format and framing is perfect and the wolf is so well placed within the frame. A lovely and well taken portrait of a wolf, and with an excellent DOF.

There was a blues singer who took that name. We always think of wolves as howling but rarely get to see the actual act. A great shot in a fine setting.

Great great photo of wolf howling. The color of the surrounding grass is excellent. You get wrapped up into the emotions of the wolf howling to the Moon. Really like this work, looking forward to more. Aileen

I've got to give you my penultimate 6* for this one, as this is a classic and brilliant picture for you to have captured. Please tell me this was in the wild and not a zoo. The clarity is pin sharp, and the DOF is good, still showing the background but not blurred to unrecognisable levels, which is great for some pictures but I don't think this one. The howl and open jaw is captured terrifically, and is a real classic image that is iconic around the world (mainly tackily done on cheap T-shirts bought at souvenir shops by people with no real sense of fashion lol. Sorry that was cruel, just kidding ;)). The thick and ruffled shades of lush brown fur has great detail, as does the pose and facial features of the beautiful creature - cropped neatly and in good natural lighting, a truly wonderful shot in my opinion - great work :)

Hahaha! Thank you Ed. It would have been nice if I could have also captured a moon in the shot to add to that classic T-shirt look! I appreciate the grand six star rating you gave this guy :)

How did you get so close? Look at all that fur on his chest. It looks like he has no front teeth, but it is deceptive. He probably does. And when a painter paints it realistically, people say the front teeth are missing. An advantage to a photograph. Good job. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Thank you! Yeah, the way he holds his mouth for howling does hide those top teeth! But we know they are there :)
