This looks like a nice spring or summer day. The building is very small. The composition is very nice and is framed well. How important is it to have that top left close if in the frame? Not the big one, the one in the corner. I might have cropped it out of the frame in order to capture the second tree on the right. Either way is fine. I know your goal was to show the clouds. Nice job. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Actually Pam my goal was to show the entire scene...it was the colors that compelled me to stop my car and get out w/ my camera. ...and yes, this could also have been cropped tighter... As my notes stated it WAS a summer day and at a golf course- hence the small building (to store lawn equipment). Appreciate hearing your thought process as you review my piece. Thank you.

Superb landscape, Deborah. You have such a great eye for composing a scene with just the right amount of sky and landscape balance and with perfect spatial balance among the varying objects of the scene. Adds up to a perfect composition and the colors are magical. Great job! Ed.

awwww....you are so kind Ed. What a really lovely thing for you to say. Ashamed to admit I was whining this morning when I posted this one...lol but warming up tomorrow and I am planning on taking Comanche and going out on the snow shoes....we have been basically housebound since Christmas!! Thank you so much for the wonderful review and especially for the shiny gold star. You're a peach!!

what a crazy idea to think of summer when the weather is so bright and hot: it is much better to "live in a snowball" with everything white , a lot of snow covering your flowers and be vsited by a bear;

That may be the first time a reviewer has commented on one of my pieces being 'thoughtful' Paul and boy do I appreciate THAT as thoughtfulness is always on the top of my list when setting up an image. Thank you so much for another thoughtful review as well. Seriously, you do an excellent job w/ your reviews.

Yes, this nice and cheery image should lift the spirits of anyone depressed by winter! Here in the UK we have not had much in the way of snow or very low temperatures but lots of strong winds and rain. Would you like to swap weathers? Nicely done!

Omg I love the title. ME TOO!
So tired of the cold already.
This is a nice view of what the future will bring and it can't be soon enough. I usually don't mind winter but this one is definitely for the birds... Enough about that, this is a gorgeous scene with lovely blue sky and green grass and one where you know the temps are much better than what we have now. Can't wait to be enjoying those again.

LOL I felt like whining this morning Marsha.....glad I had company lol Like you I usually last MUCH longer before I even begin to mind winter. Sounds like this coming week though it may be warm enough to go snow-shoeing. OH BOY!! Anything to get outside for a few hours. Thanks so much for checking this one out and chin up...it has GOT to warm up soon!

LOL. Good title! I agree. It's in the 60s today. We have a week of Sun and 70s as highs; nice deep blue sky; clouds look soft; good thinking of the green grass color contrasting w/ the sky; perfect focus; I can see good depth in this pic; great job; take care.

This is a pleasant pic; the Sun isn't out but it's in the 60s which is a heck of a lot better.

I know what you mean, I usually love winter when I could get out and enjoy it, but with it below 20 for 12 days straight, and no parks to get to, well I'm ready for spring, next week is going to be a heat wave, in the 30s

LOL...I know Dale...here too. Pretty crazy when we consider 30* a heat wave...but I'm w/ you on that!
reply by dalebraatz on 07-Jan-2018
Yes it is crazy but 30 is a heat wave, just hope it lasts till spring,

Yeah,Deb! 'I can dig it!',my friend!
( I'm 'sick of Winter' in the middle of Summer! Just the thought of it is wearisome! But-we northerners are tough! 'We Will Survive' as Jerry's people sang back in the day! Lol! )
Anyway,I'm really enjoying this bright and Summery scene you've presented us with on this last day of our 'deep freeze' spell!
'Good Show',my friend! : D
