lol..whatta close up..you can say you have presented the fly's view..scary huh? wink. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the spiders close up is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

This is the real macro! LoL!
Excellent choice of subject.
Aptly captured for the contest theme...
Fantabulous macrofied body parts in extreme sharpness.
Selective focusing draws viewers' attention right down to the crispy looking legs.
Compact framing.
Subdued lighting.
Verdant backdrop pops out brownish monochromatic arachnid...
Thanks for sharing...

Yikes! I am deathly afraid of spiders but this is a great close up shot! At least I can see one up close without getting too personal with it. Great focus and clarity on the little furs on this guy and I love how you can see little wisps of the web.

This is a large close up shot of a spider's underside and I would rate it higher if more of the spider were clearly in focus. You got his cactus like (front legs?) and beady eyes clearly in focus though. I love macro insect photography as it brings awareness of this intriguing world to us giants, and I would love to see more your work! Daphne Oberon

Hi Mike!
These things are pretty common over here too,my friend, and even though they 'give me the willies' I still think that they're fascinating creatures!
Your well detailed 'close up' shot of this one's undersides is COOL! : )
