A beautiful picture of this grusome sight of the two Coyotes in a standoff over the Deer's hide lying in the snow. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Thank you.

In my view the warning would have been totally unnecessary as there is no violent detail to be seen! Your fine composition simply reveals how nature works in a restrained style. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken

Cool,Ruth Ann!
This nicely focused photo that you've presented us with here shows us an interesting aspect of the planet's Great Life Force in action!
There's nothing about the image that I'D consider to be 'violent',it's just a Real situation and you've captured it wonderfully!

This is just a beautiful nature photograph. The posturing of the coyotes certainly tells a story aside from the elk. Your handling of the snow scene is superb. The overall picture is well balanced and the is no doubt about the center of attention. As for the violence warning - I posted a heron with a young muskrat in his mouth and thought about the same thing and also decided not to.

Thank you so much, Robert, for your review. It was fascinating to watch the coyotes' pecking order. I watched one coyote practically turn himself inside out to show submission.

A well timed action shot. The interaction between these two is well captured. Nice detail in both the rocks and the snow. A memorable moment that is deftly captured.

This is an awesome capture! This tells the story of cayotes behavior and survival, the more dominant one is showing possession with his paw on the dead elk, he is also warning the more submissive one with a showing of his teeth. This is wildlife , it's natural behavior, this is well photographed , the focus is good, the image is clear, exposure and white balance are well controlled, colors and tones appear natural. Well presente! , no, I don't feel it needs a warning.
