This is a wonderful shot of the red tailed hawk in its familiar surroundings! . You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Good clear shot of the falcon hunting from a tree limb, ever watchful. I think you could possibly pull the brightness down just a touch so the details in the breast would show a little better. Perfect focus on the eye. Nice definition and detail throughout. Good background sets the environment without distracting. Well seen.

You captured very nice clarity and detail of this guy. His face and claws stand out well. I like how the light in his eye shows the glassy nature of the eyes. His tail coloring makes me think he is a juvenile. It's nice that the sky was such a lovely shade of blue too!

A very nice nature shot posted here! Your full and almost central composition offers us a very enjoyable view of your handsome hawk! Like the feather detail and eye gleam. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!

A beautiful capture of the Red-Tailed Hawk in the tree.
Superb eye clarity! Very well photographed with good lighting, sharp focus, and excellent details on the feathers and markings of this gorgeous creature. Your play with light and shadows is perfect as well. Nice how his head is turned and the expression on his face. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing. Amazing work Barbara!

A very beautiful bird although I think it might be a Coopers Hawk not a Red Tail. The composition is attractive and the detail is outstanding. Beautiful colors and a great eye.

Hi Barbara, the red tailed hawk is such a beautiful bird of prey,I like his pose up on the branch facing forward but he has turned his head allowing a good look at his face and that hooked beak. This is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear natural. I see good clear detail from his head to his tail and a nice clear eye! I like the blue sky background and the way the branches are framing him , this is a beautiful natural composition, very well presented!
