I like the soft light beneath the trees. This green hill of moos and lichen covered tree trunks and rocks is intriguing and pleasurable to view. The photo is well focused and exposed. It has beautiful depth. I appreciate the realism of colors and light. The photo is also well composed and framed.

Very nice and well balanced woodland photograph, love all the green moss. In focus and sharp, good DoF and nicely framed. Overall, a well done woodland photograph.

Seems to be an abundance of moss in this, looks almosr semi tropical, the slope of the ground adds a bit of character in this, would fit a green contest if there had been one, nicely different photo..Brian

I love the lush mossy greens in this scene. The lichen covered rocks create a magical forest feel to this forest. I bet if I looked hard enough I could come across faeries and leprechauns having a spot of tea

Beautiful cropping. This photograph draws the viewer right into the scene. It instantly brought back a memory of one of the walking trails in the eastern mountains just above Santa Fe, NM. Thanks for that. Reasons for my five star vote.

Your photo drew me right in to the point where I am enjoying the hilly, mossy walk through the woods. I have been to a couple of places very similar and found it a bit of a challenge to keep my footing with all the gear. The lighting and colors are natural. The focus is sharp. Very nice composition.

Hah, used to live near here. A nice image, thoughtfully composed, the texture of the woodland floor and the moss covered rocks adds to its appeal. Really miss woodland like this in France. Only minor negative point for me ... it's a bit green, I might have darkened the background a bit ... or not. Nice shot though.

I did indeed and at the time I was also a keen climber ... terrifies me now in my old age.
