I like the dried straw look of this flower and the way the sunlight dances across the lavender blue petals. That fuzzy bee busy collecting pollen is a terrific bonus to the composition.

I had a florist once tell me that there was no such thing as a blue flower in nature - obviously he was wrong! This is an awesome shade of blue and the details of the petals and the bee stand out well. I like how the pattern of the wings can be seen on the bee.
