This is amazing and simple. I love the white snow and the shadows being cast by those leaves. It's just a wow!!! Elegantly done. What a eye you have!

Oh this is super and a wonderful backdrop for the crisp dry leaves! Are these pin oak leaves? Such interesting shapes... My admiration on this very simple but dynamic post!

Thank you very much for your nice comments! These are pin oak leaves :) They are very similar to the scarlet oak leaves and both those types can be more of a russet color so it can be difficult to tell the difference sometimes. Good eye Daphne :)

Glad you took my advice about always carrying 3 leaves with you!
Haha haha! The only downfall is they are not the orange red fall colors. Yeah I went there!
I see the glittery sparkles and the leaves add to the untouched snow.
Great white Balance, sharp focus and fine details.
Fab work Greenie ;)

I do see the sparkles! Good hustle! I love this scene you captured here. Leaves frozen in time <3 The focus in the photo is well portrayed. Well done!

This came out really lovely,i can see the sparkles in the snow with this grouping of oak leaves. I have a similar image which consists of a single oak leaf and it's shadow that I took after our first snowfall. A nice composition of the clash of seasons!

and what visions are dancing in my eyes now?

Nicely captured Grace.

Your colors atop the freshly fallen snow with perfectly held whites.

Great job.

I do see some sparkles, but it was probably better to see in person. I like how the little Leaf Fairies stuck those leaves in the snow just for you! ;)

The Leaf Fairies left a trail of leaves all over the snow. I singled these out because of the way they were positioned :)

Quite a nice nature shot posted here! Did you find the scene or did you create it? Yes, I do think you got some success here and capture some sparkling snow. I do suspect though that the light was not bright enough and/or your angle of capture was not the best. Otherwise, nice try!

Thank you! I didn't create the scene :) There were many leaves along this area and I focused on these three.

I really like the three leaves and their shadows on the surface of the sparkling snow, I love the simplicity of this image, it's a combination of the two seasons represented here, I love the way the snow sparkles too! It's 10 degrees here this am!
This is well focused, this image is clear, nice exposure , well composed and presented!
