What a great set up for emphasizing the yellow flower. It is dramatically displayed taking the command of the center of the frame.
The red globe adds to the intensity of the yellow flower.
Unfortunately the focus is a bit soft causing a loss of detail in the petals. That is unfortunate because this is a great image, well seen and composed.
It is still a great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best in the judging ~ Steve

An interesting idea to add that red globe. It seems to me that it draws attention away from the flower and makes the yellow less pronounced. Good luck in the contest.

Interesting spot in your garden, the yellow star shaped lily with the six slender petals is standing out very well from the weathered wood and supporting greenery, the red gazing ball adds an unexpected pop of color. I can see the sky reflecting in the ball. Well composed with a good placement of the lily in frame , I like the out of center position. Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Interesting composition, the framing is good, however the focus is off, the main component, the flower is totally out fracas which is a major detractor to the images presentation. Even the red ball or orb isn't in focus.
