A very fine landscape photo Susan. The foreground hills leading to the distant mountains. Man made objects in the natural scene. The clouds are well captured and give the scene a dramatic element. Great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best in the voting Susan ~ Steve

This is beautiful landscape photography. The clarity of the image is good. The distant hills, the blue sky with fluffy clouds, the man touched land in the foreground make it a well composed shot. Good luck!

Vincent,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this view over the Great Sugaloaf mountain on Co. Wicklow. I have a feeling Turner might have preferred it in the rain?

A very nice shot that shows the almost insignificant impact of man on this beautiful scene. I like the low horizon and the beautiful sky over the mountain. Best of luck in the contest.

Mike,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this view of the Great Sugarloaf with the commercial forestry in the dark areas in the foreground in the shadows of the clouds overhead.

of course, in comparison to the only sugarloaf I know, in Rio de Janeiro, this one is a baby; lol;
a nice composition of this landscape, just a bit too dark;

Fred,
Merci beaucoup mille fois for your review on the Great Sugarloaf in Co. Wicklow.....thought to be a Volcano's cone, a MUCH older mountain than the one in Rio de Janeiro.
The shadow of the clouds darkened pine Forest & the land below.
