Hey Pat,
Wow what another excellent capture of this brilliantly colored sunset. The softness of the clouds as well as their colors are expertly presented. The silhouettes of the foliage in the foreground is great for perspective. Well done what a pleasant photo to view!

Beautiful photograph of a pink sunset over the lake and the sky. The White Mountains and blue sky are so nice to view with the silhouettes of the grasses framing the lake. Great composition and nice balanced photograph.

This is a gorgeous view taken with sharp focus, Controlled exposure and fabulous POV.
The cotton candy pink clouds along with their reflection in the water is the bonus.

This is beautiful pat,
I love the complimentary colours in the sky, you can almost feel the cold coming off the snow capped mountains, lovely reflection on the still water, I like the framing with the foliage in the foreground which gives
a place for the eye to rest
and behold the beautiful scenery. this looks like a postcard. great job.

Awesome picture! I love the unique colors in the sky. It almost looks like fire behind the mountains. Beautiful snow capped mountains. And nice composition with the trees in the foreground.

This is another great view from your area, a view of Portage Lake from the Whittier side at the beginning of autumn. You have captured a serene colour system. The cloud is a unusual box shape and picked up in the lake with a rose sunset spreading its tones throughout. The composition angle gives a balanced view of a small centre mountain and two larger either side. The and in front of the lake is giving perspective and depth. I like that although there are deep shadows and silhouettes you managed the light to give quite detailed snow formation details on the mountains.

Strange looking sky for sure in this, almost looks like aliens are landing beyond the pinkness, think good to include a touch of forground adds a bit of scale/depth to the scene...Brian
