I never seen a more gorgeous thistle than this!! And you backed your brilliant photograph with such detailed narrative!! It helps getting the full perspective!! This bluish purple looks just so awesome!! If it's so invasive, it's a sort of boon- to have such cheerful bunches blooming in the garden in abundant joy will be a blessing!! Great use of mixed media and use of blur feature, creating wonderful contrast between the center and white glowing globe.

Wow! This is gorgeous! I love the way the middle of the largest flower jumps out at you like a 3 D movie. I have never seen this type of flower before. I would love to have these in my yard. The way you used the focus really made the photo. Good tight crop that highlights the flower as well.
