Many of the leaves here in the northeast are still broad and green,Steph, but they're all starting to ghange and fall as the season progresses!

This is truly beautiful, and such a well taken photo of the fallen autumn leaves. I especially like the wonderful colors and the close and personal approach, and also how lovely the light is falling on them.
The photo is pin sharp showing truly clear and well defined details in all the leaves, and the exposure is spot on. I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.
The tight framing is working well, and I like the way the leaves are filling the frame. The touch of green offers a nice contrast. This is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and also with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
