A nicely composed image. The flowers are intensely colored and contrast nicely with the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail which couled be a bit sharper. Best wishes in the contest.

Beautiful vibrant colors ! This s such a warm view as It's been below zero here for almost two weeks!
The butterfly is well placed within the frame and takes pose allows such a good side profile view.
I can see it is feeding from the vibrant pink flowers .
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural in this light!

This is a beautiful scene. I fine the colors a bit too bright. Looking at the pink kind of hurts my eyes. The butterfly is perfect. I love seeing the detail and differentiation of color in the butterfly wings.

When you see butterflies, then you know that it is summer. This one is truly lovely, and when sitting on these vibrant pink flowers, you photo has a strong visual impact. The light is falling on the butterfly in such a lovely way, and with the softened background, it is standing out in an excellent way.
I think the photo could have been even sharper, but it is still clear and well defined details to be seen in the wings of the butterfly. The exposure is very good.
The tight cropping is working well, and the butterfly has got a fine placement within the frame. All together a lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

It would appear you have captured a female Eastern Tiger Swallow Tail Butterfly.
I can see the entire proboscis as both antennae and all the legs are sharply seen. The angle of the shot prevents evaluation of the segmental eye. However focus is sharp enough to see the sensory hairs on the thorax. The light reflecting off the wing leading edges is dramatic and alluring. Nice impact through fine framing.

I love the ping all around, this is a beautiful butterfly, I love them too, I hope the butterfly did survive that spider web, surprised that spider wasnt on top of that as they are pretty quick one the insect hits that web, great photo
