This is beautiful!!! We don't have these beauty's this far north, so they are a treat to see. The colour in this shot is stunning and vibrant. Nice focus and exposure. The composition is well chosen. We used to have a lot of monarchs here, especially this time of year when they were headed south. I have only seen 2 this year. Sadly, they were added to the endangered species list recently. There is hardly any milkweed left. Hopefully this changes soon.

Jodi this is a beautiful capture, the swallow tail has beautiful coloring including the iridescent colors of red and blue. One of my favorite flowers are zinnias. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful Photo. Ray

Gorgeous Swallowtail butterfly And you have captured it so very well Jodi with spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear, exposure is correct , all colors and tones appear natural. Impressive details over every part of the butterfly , I like this side profile view!
