Fine digital art indeed. The bridge is drawn well in its perspective; the sky is lovely, realistic; the grasses and foliage are very nicely painted digitally. I see how you have captured the soothing feeling in your work, especially with the water, man and dog on the leisure bridge over soothing waters.

Thanks Glena, you caught the essence of what I wanted to capture, that being peace and serenity. The man and dog had the place to themselves as they walked along, pausing to take a closer look at their surroundings.

This indeed looks like a great place, and you have pictured it so well. I especially like the placement of the boardwalk, because it creates such fine leading lines. I also like the natural looking color pallet.
I have also noticed the fine reflections of the clouds in the river. This is quite a detailed painting, and the inclusion of a man walking his dog adds interest.
The format and framing is perfect, and it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well done digital painting Allan, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This indeed looks like a great place, and you have pictured it so well. I especially like the placement of the boardwalk, because it creates such fine leading lines. I also like the natural looking color pallet.
I have also noticed the fine reflections of the clouds in the river. This is quite a detailed painting, and the inclusion of a man walking his dog adds interest.

Thanks Annie, in my learning digital painting, this was the longest I spent on a piece so far. Lots of detail in getting the man/dog to appear natural and in balance with the landscape. I plant to revisit this site in winter when there is snow and maybe do a follow up piece for the winter perspective also. Thanks again.

It seems that the dog run ahead, but now it is resting at the boardwalk and waits patiently for its owner. Your composition is well rendered. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail and textures. How the boardwalk leads the eyes of the viewers diagonally through the landscape into the indefinite background pleases the equilibrium of the viewers. The digital composition is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
