A magnificent nature image of a Monarch Butterfly on a lovely mauve coloured thistle blossom. Your image is wonderfully clear and focussed. (I find it extremely hard to photograph butterflies). lighting is perfect and very nicely composed in portrait frame. The blurred background allows the Monarch Butterfly and thistle to really stand out. All the best in the contest!

This is an outstanding capture of a Monarch engaging a thistle blossom. Must be the bright light purple pink colors. Butterflies are amazing and exist on nectar. This is a wonderful photo, great clarity and tells a story. Good luck in the contest. Ray
