Hi Janice, This reminds me of the full grown Bambi in the forest. Love the way the sunbeams filter down on the Prince of the Forest. You gave this a regal elegance! Your painting is breathtaking. This is an excellent painting. The light is exotic. The colours are natural. Overall it has been composed well with exciting foreground and background all adding to the interest of the main subject. Good luck!

This is beautiful. I was an artist from young, then I even started college as a fine art major. Art was my heart and soul. My second semester, a boy there actually attacked me and I reacted by giving up my art, completely. I was numb and not myself. I switched to a teaching career and had the blessing of.teaching children and teens with special needs. I'm sharing this because I've just started doing artwork again decades later, and I'm trying to become more polished and deliberate. My work is mostly from some talent and self teaching. I wish I never gave up my training. As an 18 year old innocent girl I didn't think I was good enough to work on artworks which hsd always been my voice and which I revered. I lost my voice for decades and I'm trying to get back to where I might be able to paint as you do. I love your perfect depiction o natural light and shadow abc your detsiks of the beautiful deer, overwhelmed by natural beauty, herself. Or himself? Gorgeous and Peaceful. :)) Alex
