Brilliant shot! The close-up shot of the flower reveal intricate details and textures that are often overlooked, capturing the beauty of nature up close.
The vibrant colours and delicate petals of flowers are magnified, creating a visually stunning and captivating image. Bravo! here goes my six for this brilliant effort!

Bob, so cool. I see you do like dew, me I could do without it, especially on petunias. DOF is perfect. This yellow bearded iris, the main event, stands strong. You talk of the wireless remote shutter trigger, I remember when it was called a shutter release, and time moves on. Very nice work, you use your skills well. Ray

Yeah Ray, The times they are a changing. I used a cable shutter release in my film days. This wireless/cableless shutter release is super. I can remotely trip the shutter from some distance from the camera - best $75.00 I've spent.

Thank you so very much for great review and rating. I am glad you liked the post ... Bob

Up close and personal, just the way I like to view nature. Great composition and color palette which shows you were thoughtful in HOW you took the picture and even when, the moisture on the plant gives it a character that is intriguing. Great work my friend.

This is so good in all aspects. Your camera settings work well for this shot; very in focus and your DOF is appropriate for this shot.

Hi Bob, There is nothing prettier than a flower or spider web covered with dew. If it hadn't been overcast this would have been over the top beautiful. The dew drops would have sparkled and the flower would have glowed! Don't get me wrong, this image is still lovely. Love the golden and purple hues of this Iris. Lighting and focus are both good. Love the crinkles on the edge of the flower. With the circumstances you had you did a great job! Thanks for sharing! :o) Nancy

This is absolutely stunning! The flower so gorgeous! I've never seen this type of iris either. The variety of different flowers on this earth and all of their beauty is mind blowing. God is a genius. And the dew drops on petals - it's perfect. Super amazing capture!
