Bob,
A beautiful picture of this beautiful Ursus americanus looking down on you from her perch in the fork of a tree the sun's rays highlighting her nose the smaller branches & leaves making a beautiful backdrop for Missy who's framed by the tree trunk & large branch. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Hi Susan.. Black Bear fur is the hardest thing to focus, especially when it's in shadow. Thank you, for the excellent review and outstanding six rating! I'm glad you liked the post ... Bob

A good-looking nature image posted here together with interesting notes too! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of Missy lurking in a tree. Colours, textures and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely done!

Hi Fred.. When your house sits on the junction of three active game trails, you don't always have a say. Thank you for the fine review and rating. I'm glad you liked the post ... Bob

Hi Brian.. The citizens of my small village were so concerned with her welfare that she was an agenda item at the last town meeting. The local Game warden was present and there was a lot of discussion. In the end reason prevailed and it was decided to just leave her alone so long as she doesn't become a problem Bear. I'm glad you liked the post. Thank you, for the excellent review and rating!... Bob

We've been having a lot of 'Bear' visits over here in eastern New York state recently too,Bob!I'm sure that'll all come to a 'sticky conclusion' eventually!
That's a good looking portrait photo of this young Sow in a tree,my friend!

We keep our distance her and I, Sean. She knows I'm there and she lets me know she is around - no surprises. Thank you so much, for the review and great rating ... Bob
