I like the rich textures in the fur of the animal and the arm of the chair. The picture seems to subsist on these two elements. The low lighting enhances this effect and really makes the subject stand out! This is excellent.

Really nice photo. As the dog lover that I am, I am very drawn to shots of them. This little pooch is just too cute. You really captured him/her doing what I believe they love to do best. Great photo although a bit dark.

rflowers, this is a near perfect portrait. The only thing I can think of to improve on the presentation would be for you to rotate it clockwise slightly in so that the wooded arm and cushion are horizontally even.

Tis is a really nice shot of your animal, and he is a beauty. Love retrievers. The center is a teeny bit off, so he is slighty off kilter in frame. But I agree its a very good shot.;0

rflowers, this is an excellent photograph, of a very handsome animal. Your exposure is perfect and the degree of sharpness is wonderful. The dog looks so comfortable, he/she has assumed a great pose for you. The colours of the animal are absolutely beautiful. I find his/her patterned resting place a little distracting, but . . . what can one do? Congratulations on a great shot!

In this photo the dog looks so sad. Or just wants to go to sleep and you are taking this picture. hehe...I like the way the gold stands out in the dogs hair, just the right light for this effect.
