Very beautiful work Shawn.It's
captivating,I find myself caught
up in the blends of the colors.
This is the type of painting that
moves and speaks to you when you look at it.The colors
are excellent and the lighting is superb.I think this is one of your best paintings and a real pleasure to view.
Good Luck in the contest!

This is very interesting digital composition with strong image of storming sea. The blue and it's variations are awesome. The grandeur of water and it's power shown perfectly. Very dynamic broad strokes. The birds make good accent. Good luck in contest!

The wind effect is wonderfully done. The tones are powerful waves certainly add to the story telling which is very high. There is one area that I think might be rethought and that is the gulls. When storms like that happen birds aren't in the air. Other than that this is beautifully done. Thank you for sharing this. Travlin1

This is a very cool ocean and mist creation, Shawn. It is great, but the birds is what really makes this image so nice. Even a hint of a dolphin, or a dolphin's back, semi hidden in the wave, surf, would also add a great deal of interest! I really like this. Magnificent. Great luck in the water contest!!

This is a lovely digital artwork here. It depicts your title well. Nicely done with the choice of colours. With the look of the sky area and the waves, the compostion gives one the knowledge of the approaching storm!

I'm still gob-smacked by this...more so as it is very, very similar to a mixed media painting I did a few weeks back...but FAR FAR better! I was trying to get the effect of the sunlight shining through the wave with spray, birds (in my painting they are 'fairy turns and storm petrals) etc. I kept adding too much 'wave back spray' and the painting would become flat, in areas. When I saw your painting it was like a wake-up call, to my problem...so it's back to the studio for me. Love your piece, nice cross current effect of the waves. Lovely 'confused sea', not one I enjoy sailing in mind you, but it sure LOOKS great! Thanks for the 'butt kick' (even though you were unaware you had done so). Robin
