These are amazing. The initial impact of this image is strong because of the action and the color of this bird. The focus is good an dthe clarity of the detail is wonderful. The framing is good, and the background presents a good contrast with the subject. Catching that seed is a plus. Very nice image.

Just wow! this photograph should be on the front of National Geographic!! I wish I had more stars to give you! The characterisation is amazing, the detail of the seed in the birds mouth fantastic. Technically excellent, 6 for lighting, 6 for focus, 6 for impact - I have so much to learn!

Wonderful Photo and the pose is very good. Nice that you have captured the head angle wile eating. The color and contrast looks a little strong on my computer but still very nice. Well done and one of the greatest bird photos ever. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful shot -- I love this pretty little bird and the detail you were able to capture down to or up to the seed in his beak. Colors are lovely, nice blurred background - adds focus to the bird. This is a very nice shot, well framed, good subject, good composition.

You are a dab hand at these bird shots! This one is great. Lovely positioning of the bird digesting its seed. The clarity is great as is the framing. Not totally sure about the light strip along the top of your picture - do you think it works better with or without? Any lovely capture Willie

Thank you so much! All that in the background is natural, I did not change anything. That light green you see is the lower bows of a pine tree. I don't know if it works better or not.
