Great colors in this photo. It isn't often that the sky has a yellow cast to it. The red of the shadow from the sun draws attention to the lowering sun. I like the way the sun created nice back lighting of the bushes. Nice job.

This one was worth the wait. Great composition. I like the way you captured that white/yellow center of the sun without it being a glarey blob. Nice detail with the winter foliage and the color yellow is well represented. Good luck with the contest.

This is a nice, vibrant shot and attracts viewers' interests, but comes off to me as a bit sloppy. The sun, for one, is much too overpowering and while that's great for making a strong center of interest, I find it a bit too much.. almost blinding! (It also lowers the clarity around that area, and makes too much of the image around it overexposed.) Secondly, I feel like there's no real composition here.. looking through the bushes makes the image seem too busy.. I'd much rather see the branches frame the sunrise rather than sit in front of it. However, despite all of this, I still find this quite a pleasant view. Thanks for sharing!

I like sunrises as much as sunsets and you've captured this one well.
Lovely colours and detail. Yes the sun is very bright but that's what you'd expect.
