You've captured the feeling of the sea crashing on to the pier and rocks very well. You can almost hear the sound of the waves. Lighting and focus very good. Very nice composition.

I like the breaking waves and foam. But the pier and all that is a little hard to recognize. Coud be a little sharper.

I like the color of the bue water and the white of the spray, but I don't really understand the rest of it. To me, theres too much going on in the center, like a jam in the river?

This shot is interesting, if for no other reason, because the pier begs the question, "What is that?" Good exposure capture both the highlights and shadows. I think the composition would be better if the pier wasn't so centered vertically. Good shutter speed for the flowing water

Like the dramatic feel to the water and the lighting shows movement in the water! Like the pier as the water splashes over it and the b.g. causes the eye to drift back to the focal point of the water and pier! A wonderful contest entry and best of luck!

Something of a strange shot presented here. Quite a wave breaking ashore, but the rest of the sea is fairly calm looking? The shot is well exposed and is fairly sharp. Like the look of the silvery wave tops. Wonder about the green wave coming in. Nice work though, well done!

a little over exposed on the waves, blowing out details on them
good framing
focus sharp
just needed different settings to get a better exposure

Your comment made me smile as I reserved a spot too and only have a few ocean shots to choose from, and this beats any of mine! What I love is the composition with that big rollong green wave in the front rt corner.

A very alive composition with some very nice color in the foreground. Good use of frame space and the divider of the small pier. Well thought out shot, thanks for sharing.

This is an interesting seascape photograph as the viewer can see lots of action in the shot. I think seascape shots that are different than calm beach shots are more interesting anyway.
