I'm glad you've recovered from Lyme Disease.
It's great that you've planted such a beautiful garden, that you now can take photos of.
This looks like a beautiful garden. I'm sure it must take a lot of work, and also afford a lot of pleasure.
Like the composition very much, with the diagonal line leading up to the tree, the three lines of bleeding hearts pointing across to the other side, and the flowers on the left leaning in.
I like how much space each section gets.
nice balance.
love the colors...all the rich greens and the colors of the flowers.
like looking at all the textures too...the grass, the tree, the foliage...
very nice light.

Thanks Filly for your careful observations. I has taken a lot of work but I love it!! I really like how you see things in a spatial way. I felt the balance but couldn't put it into words like you do. Paula

Paula, this is a very original and quite exceptional composition. The colours are really superb, but I wonder if the shot could have been enhanced if it was a tad lighter. Even so, the contrasting colours against the greenery is a real stand out and your focus and DOF are great. Great camera work. Very well done.
