This is just how I imagine Jesus would look if I meet him in person. Probably most people would agree with me too and this is how he is presented in pictures for the most part. Such expression in those eyes and strangely, in the mouth too. Gorgeous colours which give a warm colour over the whole work. Beautifully executed. Well done.

You know what omg they did a documentary about what Jesus might of looked like. I forgotten the name of the show but it was on the Discovery Channel. But anyway they had this sheet with Jesus blood on it and his face was on it but with the computer they shown what Jesus might have looked like and omg your picture is really close to their picture!

I know the documentary your talking about. Its amazing how all artist have their idea of what Christ might have looked like, we have some mentions in the bible here and there but the shroud is the closest I think we will ever come to really knowing. This was from the actor who played in the movie Jesus but like I said in my notes, we know that Jesus was Hebrew so his eyes wouldn't have been blue like the actor had. I wanted to make his bead a bit more scruffy than the actors also considering they didn't have barbers back then, I did get the skin tone off I think. In reality he would have been darker tone but I used the actors skin tone for reference. Your complement means so much to me Jerrid so sorry it took so long for me to respond to your review. there's a lot of strong points to your digital image that makes this a quality drawing of jesus christ. the hair is very good and works niceley under the hood. the colors works nicely together to create a likiness of human flesh, even the flesh tone is closer to white than hebrew. the cloth is nice and frames the face in the nicely. i would have put more of the head and shoulders into the drawing fore more proportions. over all good work in creating a face that has expression and mood. thanks for sharing your image.
