Great shot of "cruisin' duo", with strong composition and good use of lighting. I like the contrast between the dark dappled water and the textures of the birds' feathers.

You do know that even numbered objects make our brains bored, don't you? We much prefer to see odd numbers.
This is a good example of when "rules are for fools" and it's good you broke it. This image works because of the unison of the two, almost feels as if they are one, placed symmetrically they make us sigh, ahhhh, two beauties.
Too bad you don't have PS because you could have cloned out those white pops on the water, alas...some photographers will not do that because they believe in preserving the integrity of the shot.
This is nicely contrasted and I like the way it's been formatted and presented to us, from the side, gliding in, we get to have a peek, then poof the moment is gone. Just like life!

Comment from susanlen
I never get tired of looking at swans which is just as well since there is a resident pair on the canal which runs past my front door! I like the way the male seems to take care of the female, particularly during the breeding season when she spends a lot of time on the nest. Very good shot which is more or less a double take.

Two heads, two swan necks, two brains but different visions.
Nice parallelism of dainty features stands out in this dark pond like faucets with built in water closets.
Ideation cropping for the direction they are facing.
