Absolutely gorgeous photo. You have arranged the leaves so nicely. The curled up one adds interest as does the shadow. That shadow is of a different leaf, not the orange one in the foreground. Adds intrigue. That orange leaf is so perfect. This looks like a Thanksgiving card. Nice job.

Fantastic presentation that deserves a 6 or even a 7* - amazing composition with one intact leaf and others in fall process, very nicely arranged, amazing background composition super soft ambiance - fantastic lighting, the color harmony is perfect, focus and angle are perfect, textures pin sharp - and the three dimensional effect due to your angel is beyond - a winner work in artistic composition and meeting of the criteria for the contest - life and death in harmony - well done, all the best for the contest

I have seen a great number of Fall leaves but this is certainly the best by far. The composition is outstanding. The orange leaf is front and centre but the other leaves make for interest in the image. The dark maroon next to the orange colour is striking. You have created much texture in this photo - the curled up dry leaves and the detail of the veins in the main leaf is great. The shadows surrounding the composition work very well as they provide depth and add some symmetry to the image. The muted colour of the background is a very good choice.Best of luck in the contest !

I have seen a great number of Fall leaves but this is certainly the best by far. The composition is outstanding.
