I think this is a very interesting and inviting poster. Excellent colours that should bring attention to, well composed. My only suggestion would be to use a different letters for the location etc. I find the script you use hard to read.

U thinking more block type font? Or did the FAR logo get in the way of reading it easily?

I would love to attend:) I don 't know much about posters, this is colorful and makes me want to see the exhibit for sure. I personally would like the black print to stand out just a bit more, it looks kind of faded on my monitor. thanks for sharing and good luck with your presentation.

Over all I like this. It tells the story of what is happening. I wonder if Educational should be in the title. Also Reef as Art could be a title. In my mind. People see reef photos all the time. From what you haven the little pix is details of the animals in the reef. That is different. Tell people about it.Also the Lion Fish should be in color. Everything is in color except that one.

played with the title, the gallery like the one used the best.
I thought it add a special point of interest in the way it departed from all the colors, dramatic, and place a emphasis on the show.
