This deserves a much higher rating than a five but I'm out of sixes already. I don't review much anymore and it amazes me the talent that is on here. This is one such piece. Not only magical but has an overall good feel to it that brings out the kid in anyone. Good luck in the contest, but this would be a winner in anyone's book

Thank you very much for your attentive review and your observing eye. Only a few identified the fish as lion, a fact which will be important in later chapters of the story.

I archived the glow effect with a separate layer beneath the fish which I had painted with 30%-metallic-white.

Thank you for your kind review. The eyes belong to a mermaid. Do you see the dark curve between the eyes? That is the nose.
