A very nice shot with a bit of a tough wing position to capture in such nice detail. You must have stopped down quite a bit to get this excellent depth of field. Very nice colors and excellent cropping.

I think your french butterflies are more colorful, and intensely so, than are our more humble Colombian butterflies. Love the depth of contrast with this work. You know what? You ought to be our zoo´s mariposario with more than 800 species of butterflies allowing you to walk through their world and see how they do it. Warning, you might overheat your camera in the process, but you needed a new camera anyway, right? seriously, check out the cali zoo... it was a pleasant surprise for me... maybe it will be for you and any other butterfly lovers you know.
