Fantabulous composition.
A cyber6 rating for surreal color & outlandish charm.
Selective focusing.
Subdued lighting!
Excellent framing with ample marginal spaces all throughout.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
Thanks.

First, I am glad that my last review of your work was entertaining for you. I love making people smile. Spreading happiness is so fun. This is a great capture. King of the mountain, it appears. Great narrative. Great title. Perfect image. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice Deb. I really like your AS....ter, especially with the contrasting colors of the blues and the burnt orange of the bumble bee. Sharp focus and a complimentary depth of field. Great work Deb ~ Steve

No problem. Bumble bees can certainly be a pain in the AS...ters.

I know, I'll keep my day job.

LOL...no...love it Steve. These guys actually sleep on my AS...ters and don't move until the sun warms them up. I couldn't help it either....even though it's true.

There is enough room to share. The sharp focus and the detail of the bee is amazing. The asters are a stunning example of late blooming flowers of summer. The lighting is nice and details of focus are great. Love the action and power struggle.

excellent presentation of this flower and its two little critters messing about in its depths.. Great colours with excellent sharpness throughout and enhanced by the diffused backdrop. I don't think have ever seen a bee with red and black colours ...

I love this unique photo because I see two bees having a wrestling match for the sweet stamen. The photo captured nature displaying complementary colors. Art class in our own backyard. Thank you.

Wrestling! EXACTLY jani. I'd thought everyone would see that right away....so am glad YOU did. Thanks so much for the wonderful review and the extra star. I do appreciate both!

You are welcome! I just got a reprimand from a long time member of FAR that I was not using the right criteria for my reviews. She stated that a review was NOT about my interpretation, so she proceeded to give me guidelines to help me. She told me I should stick to commenting about technical ability, use of space, light & shadow application, etc. She understood that it would take me a while to catch on because I am new. Well, I sure I hope I can continue to make reviews that aren't "cookie cutter" versions. Thank you for accepting this interpretative review.

I once told a new reviewer that she must review what is there...not what she WISHES was there. So you must be careful especially not to deduct points b/c of something you THINK should be there. Reviews do get easier w/ practice.

A nicely composed shot with beautiful detail in the bees and outstanding colors. The flowers are very well shown but I would prefer to see the face of at least one of the bees.

awww...really mm? They were so fuzzy here I was looking to show that....well, that and their wonderful colors. Well, lol...let me assure you....they look the same (face-wise that is) as most Bees. Thank you so much for checking them out though. I do appreciate it and will have to post a 'face-forward' view just for you!
