The focus is perfect on this Robin. The clarity and colors are wonderful.
I think you'll really enjoy this lens. I use a 70-300 mm lens for wildlife and I love it.

Thank you. It is going to be fun to be able to expand what I can photograph now.

Not a bad bird shot overall! Your nice composition gets a good natural scene. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely done with your new lens!

Thank you...my first try at critter shots. The lens that came with my Cannon just wasn't adequate. It opens up a whole new area for me.

I really like this shot. The play of light on the sharply focused fence and bird give this such a dramatic look and feel. The new lens is going to capture some real keepers in the future no doubt. Great work here Mary Eileen ~ Steve

The last few years the robins have been staying in Michigan all winter. You can see huge flocks in crab apple trees that have fruit. A great shot with very nice colors and excellent sharpness.

This is a very pleasing composition. I like the way you captured the light on the fence and the bird against the dark background. The rusty leaf colors in the vine mimic the bird's red breast.
