I really not only love the sentiment of this work, but love that a military man can be sentimental enough to put something like this together, and shows you have found your creative side as well. It reminds me of my dad, having served in Korea and Vietnam and sending poems to my mom. She has them framed and hanging in the hall. Plus my dad also is a very creative and talented fellow. He was also Army and retired cop. Even tough guys have artistic talents and warm hearts. Thanks for your service and for sharing your story and all that you are made of. What a gift.

i was drawing long before i learning how to write..when i was 5 while watching the mercury rocket take offs on tv...i drew barnyard animals staring off into distance at a rocket..heck that was the reason i went into the army to get the GI benefits..course life throws us curveballs and i fell in love, got married had kids..had to use the benefits to go into management..cant support kids on a pipe dream of being an illustrator or cartoonist that maybe kinda sorta might make some money one day..so when the last one left the house years ago, i went back to pursuing my dream..so when ya get old in life...it aint over..heck in the artworld its only just beginning...cool hearing about your dad...wink...thanks for the great review.

It was memories that I pulled this out if my head. However after 2 wives over 30 years I think I'll just hang with my artwork and not deal with those other issues..wink. thanks for the great review

What a gorgeous great traditional artwork for the contest.Beautiful artistic scene .Great entrance and very nice presentation.I wish for your win.In The last days I wrote the reviews for our country newspapers with my mother language.So I had many nice opportunities in the main news occasions.So I could not give my vote .The army officer,green uniform and hat,skin tone and body details lady gold hair and details,heart and hearts with background are make a nice scene.I like this talent perfect work.Creativity color are excellent.Color blending is very nice and great.Well Done.Thanks.

lol..nah its just folks i made up..my 1st wife was a redhead and skin pale white..at least we produced 3 beautiful daughters..my 2nd wife could be close to this she has tan skin with blond hair..i learned im just better off being with my art and cartoons..it is peaceful..wink..lol. thanks for the great review.

i have always said you are what you are on last post..folks took an interest only when i did the cartoons even i have done several hundred drawings like this..really its not new and with my large portfolio no one is going to look thru all of it.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..thats why i created the music videos..get a chance stop by Youtube.com and search "MKFlood Presents". there is 19 music videos with wide range of music and work..all done with my lil ole sharpie and bic pens..wink. thanks for the awesome review.
