This is well taken shot from a vantage point which gives the viewer an idea of the extent of floods. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Quite a dramatic looking scene and story! It makes me wonder where in the world is all this taking place? Like that substantial looking bridge that has been nicely composed. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

Hi Mary Eileen!
I guess that it's just been 'that kind of a summer',my friend! ( We've had several flood threats up here in NE New York too! )
That's a good looking picture of this big old bridge spanning the rising water though!
A very 'Good Show' of an image,my friend!

Thank you Sean. That raw sewage was released from the Binghamton treatment plant in NY. 😖😖😖

Nice image showing the rising waters as they creep up on the bridge. Looks like there is still room under the bridge, but the waters seem to be over flood stage on the banks. Dreary look in the sky and coloring makes this an even stronger image. We have also been under flood and storm watches several times this summer. I am lucky I live at the top of the hill. Nice shot well seen.

i grew up along side the Mississippi and of course with a last name of Flood you can imagine the jokes i would hear. one time i was checking into a hotel in an area that had flooding and i had to show my ID to prove that flood is really my last name and it wasnt a joke..lol. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of the flooded area under the bridge is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

This is a very pretty scene in spite of the rain and flooding of the sewage plant. I really like the bridge with the metal structuring and the way it reflects on the water, well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well handled, colors and tones appear natural! Well presented!
